I'm an architectural designer shaped by experiences in Moscow and New York, with insights from my time at firms like Gensler and Kiewit. My approach blends a strong sense of aesthetics with real-world practicality, balancing beauty, clarity, and function in every project.
I have a great sense of form, material, and light as tools to shape atmosphere, flow, and experience. My designs are driven by how space feels and performs, whether it’s through subtle geometry, natural textures, or the rhythm of daylight.
Conversationally
I studied architecture at the bachelor’s level in Russia and then followed my interest in research with a master’s in history and theory of architecture.
Early on, I worked on a wide range of projects across Russia and Eastern Europe — from small interiors to multifamily housing, educational buildings, and larger urban developments, often collaborating with European bureaus. That broad range gave me hands-on experience with many facets of architectural and design practice—concept, detail, and delivery.
A big part of that was sketching, which became my way of communicating ideas — from early ideation through to built work.
When I moved to New York, I joined Gensler and had the chance to work on major city developments with big clients and big teams.
Over time, I became more drawn to design technology, particularly in large complex projects, which eventually brought me to Kiewit, where I worked with a team of architects as a design technology/BIM manager. That role gave me hands-on experience with complex infrastructure projects and the very real challenges of construction and coordination at scale.
